The Great Commandment -- God does not make suggestions

Matthew 22:36-40   "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"
  And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ...
  And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
  On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets."          John 14:15 "If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

1John 5:3   For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.
