The Great Commandment -- God does not make suggestions

Matthew 22:36-40   "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?"
And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. ...
And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.
On these two commandments depend all the Law and the Prophets."
John 14:15 "If you love me, you will keep my commandments.

1John 5:3   For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not burdensome.

Heavenly Food

Matthew 26:26-28  Now as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and after blessing it broke it and gave it to the disciples, and said, "Take, eat; this is my body."   And he took a cup, and when he had given thanks he gave it to them, saying, "Drink of it, all of you, for this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
John 6:27 Do not work for the food that perishes, but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give to you. For on him God the Father has set his seal."               John 6:51-58 I am the living bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever. And the bread that I will give for the life of the world is my flesh."  So Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you.   Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up on the last day.
For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink.
Whoever feeds on my flesh and drinks my blood abides in me, and I in him.
As the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, so whoever feeds on me, he also will live because of me.
This is the bread that came down from heaven, not like the bread the fathers ate, and died. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever."

Isaiah 26:4  Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.

Listen

Proverbs 19:20 Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.

Isaiah 42:23 Who among you will give ear to this, will attend and listen for the time to come?

Jeremiah 12:17 But if any nation will not listen, then I will utterly pluck it up and destroy it, declares the LORD."

John 9:31 We know that God does not listen to sinners, but if anyone is a worshiper of God and does his will, God listens to him.

John 10:16 And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd.

1John 4:6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

ALL things possible with God

WITH GOD all things are possible
WITHOUT GOD nothing is possible

John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.          Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Mark 10:27 Jesus looked at them and said, "With man it is impossible, but not with God. For all things are possible with God."
Luke 18:27 But he said, "What is impossible with man is possible with God."
