A helper is coming...

                                       .....The promise of the Helper to come.....
John 15:26--16:4  “But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me. 
John 15:27  And you also will bear witness, because you have been with me from the beginning. 
John 16:1  “I have said all these things to you to keep you from falling away.

Luke 24:46, 47 and (Jesus) said to them, “Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, 
47  and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.
Luke 24:50-52  And he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them.
51  While he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven.
52  And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,

Bee Doers... not just hearers... of the Word

John 15:5  I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.
James 1:22-27  But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. ....
....:25  But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.
26  If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.
27  Religion that is pure and undefiled before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction, and to keep oneself unstained from the world.

Be still; wait patiently before the Lord

                                    Psalm 37:7  Be still before the LORD and wait patiently for him.......

Acts 1:7  He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. 

Create in me a clean heart ...

Psalm 51:10-12  Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.
11  Cast me not away from your presence, and take not your Holy Spirit from me.
12  Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.

Matthew 6:6,21 ... when you pray, go into your room and shut the door and pray to your Father who is in secret. And your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
21  For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 

THE GOOD SHEPHERD .....

John 10:11  I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep...... 
John 10:14-16  I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me, 
15  just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep. 
16  And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. From John 10:1-42
