He restores my soul...

Ezekial 33:14-15  Again, though I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ yet if he turns from his sin and does what is just and right,

15  if the wicked restores the pledge, gives back what he has taken by robbery, and walks in the statutes of life, not doing injustice, he shall surely live; he shall not die. 

... He leads me beside still waters

Mat 10:42  And whoever gives one of these little ones even a cup of cold water because he is a disciple, truly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward.” 

John 3:5  Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God. 

John 7:38  Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.’” 

... He makes me lie down in green pastures.

Hosea 2:18  And I will make for them a covenant on that day with the beasts of the field, the birds of the heavens, and the creeping things of the ground. And I will abolish the bow, the sword, and war from the land, and I will make you lie down in safety.

The Lord is my shepherd

Mat 2:6  “‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’”

Mat 9:36  When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Mat 25:32  Before him will be gathered all the nations, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. 

Mark 14:27  And Jesus said to them, “You will all fall away, for it is written, ‘I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’ 

John 10:11  I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep. 

John 10:14  I am the good shepherd. I know my own and my own know me,

John 10:16  And I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them also, and they will listen to my voice. So there will be one flock, one shepherd. 

1Peter 5:4  And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.

Yesterday, Today and Forever

                                                          HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!
                     Today we start a new year, 2017.  But, let us not forget that -

Hebrews 13:8  Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Isaiah 45:5,6  I am the LORD, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me,
6  that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the LORD, and there is no other.
