Forgiven Sin

And when he saw their faith, he said, "Man, your sins are forgiven you." And the scribes and the Pharisees began to question, saying, "Who is this who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins but God alone?" When Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answered them, "Why do you question in your hearts? Which is easier, to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you,' or to say, 'Rise and walk'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins"—he said to the man who was paralyzed—"I say to you, rise, pick up your bed and go home." Then if anyone says to you, 'Look, here is the Christ!' or 'There he is!' do not believe it. For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you beforehand. So, if they say to you, 'Look, he is in the wilderness,' do not go out. If they say, 'Look, he is in the inner rooms,' do not believe it. For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.   Matthew 24:23-27

If God Is For Us, Who Is Against Us?

The Lord Gives Such Great Promises To Us!

God Promises:

• He will supply every need we have. (Philippians 4:19). "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus".
• His grace is sufficient for us. (II Corinthians 12:9) "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."(Ephesians 2:8) “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God –’’
• His children will not be overtaken with temptation. (1 Corinthians 10:13) “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, but with the temptation will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
• Victory over death.  (John 3:16) “For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.” (I Corinthians 15:57) …"but thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ."
• All things work together for good to those who love and serve Him faithfully.(Romans 8:28) “We know that in everything God works for good with those who love him, who are called according to his purpose.”
• Those who believe in Jesus and are baptized for the forgiveness of sins will be saved.  (Mark 16:16) “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.”
• God has promised His people eternal life. (John 10:27, 28). “My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me; and I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, and no one shall snatch them out of my hand.”
• Freedom from fear. (Isaiah 41:10) “fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my victorious right hand.” (Jeremiah 29:11) “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
